VIE'08 offers two registration payment options:

Option A:
Registration through QMUL online registration system. Credit card payments are accepted. Supported card types are Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, MasterCard, Solo and Maestro. Please note that for this option all the payments and refunds are made in British Pounds. Detailed information on how to proceed with this option is given below.

Option B:
Registration using bank transfer to an account at XJTU (Xi'an Jiaotong University). The detailed information of the bank account is provided below. Please note that for this option all the payments and refunds are made in Chinese currency (CNY). If you choose to pay using a different currency (Euros, US Dollars or HK Dollars), you will be charged the equivalent to the CNY rates presented below, in addition to the bank's exchange charges.

IEEE and IET members are entitled to the "Member" rate, in which case the appropriate membership number has to be provided.

Registration Package

Registration package includes:

• attandance to all the oral and poster sessions;
• VIE'08 proceeding;
• delegate bag;
• reception event;
• mid-morning and mid-afternoon coffee breaks;
• fork buffet lunches with soft drinks;
• conference dinner;
• social event.

Authors Registration Requirements

For each accepted paper to appear in the conference proceedings and to minimize the number of "no shows", at least one of the authors, different for each accepted paper, should be registered by 30 May, 2008. Papers not satisfying this requirement will be removed from the conference program and will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Cancellation Policies

The deadline for early registration cancellation is 6 June, 2008. Cancellations received before the deadline will incur in a administration penalty equal to 20% of the paid fees. After 6 June, 2008, no refund can be made on any cancellation.
